One(1) carp caught of approx 2lb. on bottom feeder.
Lake was very low and very, very weedy. There was also a strong wind blowing.

All in all although only one fish caught, a very enjoyable day finishing off with a nice pint in the Neuadd Arms, Llanwrtyd!

First time on this lake Lovely spot to fish. Couple of carp mooching around the shallows when we arrived which disappeared shortly afterwards. Didn't see another fish all day. Tried a few different methods and baits but was not to be. Levels quite low, surprising after the amount of rain through the winter.

Water level as low as i have ever seen it and weed growth heavy but still a wonderful place to spend the day, even managed to catch a small wild carp from a clear hole in the middle with legered corn. We will return!

Spawning like it's going out of fashion. Left them to it.

Fished Pant Y Llyn. Two carp caught, the first was 7.77lbs, the second 1.35lbs both caught using bottoms rigs with sweetcorn as the hook bait. Both fish caught from the middle of the lake.

Wet and windy day to add to the fact the water was very low made the fishing difficult.

No showing fish just lots of minows in the edges.

An unseasonably wet. cold, and very windy day - with gusts up to 37mph - made for very tough angling. A topping fish at the centre of the lake helped provide a target, and a long cast with a PVA bag of pellet and pop-up (to help fish over weed) brought a cracking chub. It's my second time on the Llyn - and the weather has been rough both times - but it is the most stunning location and, in the breaks between gusts/showers there are always opportunities! I hope to be back on a finer day to winkle one out the edge on traditional tactics.

No fish landed on this visit but a stunning place to spend the day.

Carp were jumping in the middle the lake all day but out of range of the fly rod. Lots of minnows and small chub in the margins.

2 Chub

Lost two small wild carp at the net but did successfully land four wildies, the best going 4 lb 10 oz. Also landed a decent chub. All fish were immaculate looking healthy fish.
