No fish today

Nothing caught today BUT i'm not sure if I saw a fish follow my spinner in Heriog pool got the juices flowing

A quick trip before the next lockdown. The fishing was slow with oos trout showing more interest than the grayling, all caught on nymphs. A good sized salmon was seen moving up through Herons run. Largest grayling was 15".

well last day on the river for 2020 season. Rose a smallish fish on the very top boards but did not connect ,Fished all the way down to the hut ,with not a touch or sight of a fish.
Oh well there is always next season

Fished the whole beat. Not a sight of a salmon anywhere, where have they all gone from last week ?

Had a couple of pulls, but no salmon seen or caught.

First ever salmon for Dave Ashworth on his first visit to the Wye – 10lb hen from the tail of the Ferry (House) Pool on a 1” Willie Gunn tube.

I had some excitement in the morning when I thought I was into a salmon in the Gromain Cottage Pool. It turned out to be a 5lb trout. Apart from that, no salmon seen.

Mark Barker caught 2 salmon. 4lbs and 7lbs. Great day.

Fished most of the day last chance under the bridge . I had a take down by the big rocks .
