Fish rising all day, not interested in variety of dries but were more than obliging on the nymph. All taken Euro style, with probably another 10 not landed. Great beat with large variety of water. Mainly on PTN variations, with a small hotspot.

Tried both dry fly and sinking nymph , too little water didn't see any rises , no fish seen ,walked the extent of the beat ,not enough water , no apparent fish . Fished from 08.00 to 2pm gave up , we need rain to replenish the water levels .

3 on a nymph and 1 on dry biggest 12". Bumped a few others on a nymph. Not much to go at on the dry. Water very low and warm sunshine.

Prolific hatches of olives all day but the trout were very reluctant to rise to them. Picked up a few fish by watching and waiting for the intermittent risers.
