Fished between 11 & 3, bright day, no hatches and not many fish seen. Couple of WBT no more than 8" Not exactly the most scenic of beats but based on other catch reports it looks like the fishing has made up for it for others.

Nice looking section of river but a very disappointing day, under no circumstances will I book this beat again in the spring / summer especially at the weekend. I fished down sewage pool ( looked my best chance as top pool was very shallow ) and as I got to the near the road bridge someone threw a large stick in for their dog which promptly jumped into the pool and swam all over it. The tail of the pool had a family with kids playing in the water! Pools constantly disturbed by the public and / or their dogs. Nothing private about this stretch. Ended up fishing for trout and caught 1 in a half hour then left very annoyed.

V sunny first thing, then a little cloudier.
Trickle of small olives in the morning, some mayfly mid-afternoon.
Caught fish on a nymph.
