A long, but enjoyable 9hrs on the Usk res. Bit rough for the fly, but spinning using some size 0/size 1 copper coloured spinners and little minnow lures came though, landing us a total of x2 rainbows, x3 Little browns, and x4 Perch.

A cold wind and temperatures low only 5 degrees to start, myself and my 10 year old mini me grandson started fishng, ive taught him to well. He caught the first 2 fish before I caught, he the had his next fish b4 I caught the next 2 so at 12 mid-day we had our 6 fish limit and packed up and home in Tredegar at 1pm.
As soon as we packed up out came the sun typical, but we had a great time quality time with my grandson
