Caught five perch, which I returned to the water.

4 Trout, 5 Other

Fishing dry fly and hooked 6 trout although only managed to land 3 all around the 1.5lbs to 2lbs. Although sunny there was quite a bit of cloud around so there was plenty of rising fish. I have decided this season that I will fish 'catch and release' as I want the sport of catching the fish but not necessarily the keeping of them. Is there a possibility of a lesser tarrif for fishermen like myself? I would be grateful if you would consider this please.

Oh what a lovely morning, I fished 4 spots and caught in each, all on a small spinner, 2 perch, 2 rainbows and a brownie. Quite busy later on as there was a competition on, sad no notice the accumulation of litter once more.

3 trout caught. 2 on spinner 1 on worm. Loads of perch around hitting bait as soon as it landed.

Caught 3 lovely trout on homemade beetles, weather good, air display given by local Red Kite team, couldn't really have had a better day.

Slow start with nothing until well after lunch. Activity picked up from around 2.00pm Three caught on a black viva and floating line and the other of us caught four on a small mepps spinner. An enjoyable day in warm sunshine and fine views with nine Red Kites circling the lake.
