Fished the last swim down stream on the road side from 3pm to 7pm with very little action. The weather was bright and sunny but the fishing was tough going... Using pellet/feeder the best I could manage was a 4 1/2lb Chub! Not a great days fishing but a lovely day to be out there.

Good colour for fishing but somewhat disappointed with this beat as mostly shallow gravel open water with no real fish holding features. Probably better in early season when more weed present and can run a float through.
Feeder fishing, then two swims on east bank(road side) probably best.
Positive is good access to water, can park near to where you fish, and countryside is very pleasant. However I personally will be crossing this off my list of WUF fisheries to visit, though seems popular with some judging by the number of well worn swims.

A good day with a nice flow on the river. Chub to 4lb through the day but just the one barbel.

River had good flow and was quite clear. First swim produced one 9-inch barbel! Moved to another swim in the evening and had three more barbel to 7lb 9oz and a chub of about 31/4 lb. All on pellet with feeder. Cleared up a tangle of another angler's discarded line on the bank - why are people so careless?

Nice and easy fishery to find, good access to river. River very clear. Stuck it out on the feeder but only one barbel about 6lb. Should have done a bit of trotting as well. You live and learn from other reports.

Overnight rain made the bank very slippy and the pheasant shoot in the next field made it a little noisy only to be compounded when lunch was served ON THE BRIDGE. How the other half live. Thank you wuf.

What a lovely beat. The barbel were a little slow on the uptake (or perhaps it was the angler!), but who cares - spent a large part of the day trotting small baits and filling my boots with chub and dace - the numbers are guess work - I wasn't counting but for the most part it was a fish a trot. Some of the chub were nice fish 3lb to 4lb plus plenty of chublets. One nice barbel on the float and then one on pellet in the gloaming.

What a lovely little stretch of river. Easy parking very close to the nearest swims. Swims were good for access although might have to be taken during wet weather as they may get muddy / slippy. Only on 'decent' fish - a 4.5lb chub but one good barbel lost. 10 very small (<1lb) barbel caught though and they were great to see - a good sign of active recruitment. Spent a good deal of time trotting small baits and caught a constant steam of smaller chub, dace and bleak and a single gudgeon. Lots of kingfisher sightings and a Daubentons bat appeared at about 5:30 pm which was very unusually early, nice to watch it hunting though. I think a lot pf people stick it out on the Wye with big baits for big chub and barbel but they are missing a treat with the quality of the trotting sport for smaller chub and dace - it was litterally a bit a chuck! Will be back one day soon.

River not pushing through despite overnight rain. Stuck with pellet and hair rig all day. Bites not prolific but still managed a few fish. Watch the snags (weed).
