Wyastone Lees is unfishable. Well we arrived early. The river downstream from the car park is basically a slime weed multiplication facility. About 20” deep, even wading out, it’s slime city. Nothing by 1130 so walked off.

Nothing. Filament algae made float fishing difficult and feeder fishing impossible. Won’t bother again until we get a flush, whenever that may be!

Late afternoon & evening session, barbel came late on. Nice to see eels returning but wish they would leave my bait alone! 5 of them, and not boot laces either!

A couple of hrs trotting meat and pellet this evening for 2 nice chub and 3 eels. Every time meat went on, taken by an eel and then a new hook length!
