Funny old day, and pestered with eels, but then I was using meat…… Fished in the woods towards the top, proper tackle cruncher but still a good day. First time on this stretch but enjoyed it, would defo come back.

4 anglers fished . (booking of 3 & 1). Although the river was in perfect condition the fishing was hard with only 3 of us catching out of 4. 4 barbel ,one chub and an eel.

fished mid way through the wooded section the barbel came early and late with the chub during the day.

Great day river falling but still plenty of flow and colour, strong fighting fish obviously replenished after the summer

First of a three day stay in Ross, fishing on 3 different WUF beats. Second time on this one and second time running I've caught double figures in a day. 10 barbel in total, smallest 4 poundish, biggest just under 10 with the others all around 8 to 9 pounds. Hit it at the perfect time, rising but with a bit of warmth and dull overhead.

Took 6 in the top bit (England) and 4 near the spooky caravan (Wales) every one falling to glugged Robin Red pellets and feeder. Could have had more but left early for a pint or three.

River was rising and fish where on ..had the afternoon there and caught 4 barbel ????????

Nothing caught for 6 hours. Lost a barbel to a faulty knot after it had yanked my rod out of the rest.
Moved upstream 50 yards for last two hours at suggestion of the angler from Brighton who was packing up in that swim.
He was spot on. 7 lb and 9lb barbel (and a 2lb eel) in the late afternoon. Red pellets.
