Didn't bother fishing, area I was hoping to fish was not accessible due to fallen trees and lack of maintenance. Was also surprised to find another angle fishing when I was the only angler booked on the stretch.

Quiet evening.

Conditions looked ideal, but the fish weren't playing.

Slow day with lots of inactivity
5 chub and 1 barbel came from the fast section on trotted meat.
1 barbel and 5 eels came to the tip in the wooded section.
Barbel to 7lb 6oz
Chub to 4lb+

Fished sunrise to midday with two barbel coming early morning.

A decent day for once. The first barbel of the season after several blanks.

Arrived for an evening session at 5 and the first swim was occupied by a herd of cows, so moved on.

Wandered further downstream and had an entertaining few hours. A couple of eels in late afternoon followed by 3 barbel between 7-9 pounds and a chub. Missed a couple of fish too.

Just as I'd almost given up on The Wye after several quiet trips.
