Fishing continued well from previous day, barbel on pellet and chub on meat all from deeper water in far bank swims

5 Barbel, 8 Chub

Water very low but managed to find a beach area with deep run on far bank. One particular swim was on fire, 8 barbel to 9 1/2 lb and 4 chub to 5lb, all to halibut pellet. The next swim was more quiet but had some good chub and one barbel

Very disappointed as very few swims are accessible.
River was very low and clear and the Weather was hot and sunny making fishing difficult

One last go on Sugwas, arrived early afternoon fished the same spot previously a day or so ago, 4 chub all over 4lb with one just under 5lb, great sport unfortunately once again the barbel were not playing. Maybe next time.

Becoming a favourite venue , pleasure to be back there , just myself on for the day , level low … so fished the faster/ stretches …further up , 5 good chub alas no barbel , but the chub was good sport . The river needs rain …
