River was running clear, so decided to fish for chub. Bright sunny day only had 2 chub between us on cheese paste.

River conditions weren't the best, a lot of flow and a lot of colour. Nice beat, but I'd say £22 is a bit steep.

River very good condition. Very cold and banks very steep to the water. Beautiful place.

1 Grayling

The river was up a little when we got there but rose about 4 feet during the day. I caught 2 on my first 2 casts. Richard pike fished with no luck. The best chub was about 4 pounds.

A tough but enjoyable day for my return to Sugwas. Very bright and frosty with the levels up a few feet and running clear and quite cold. Fished 4 swims for one Chub around 2.5lb on crust/cheesepaste.

Just a short 4 hour session. Managed just the one chub with the river pushing through and well up.

Conditions were ideal, mild weather, river had fined down and colour was good. 6 Barbel were caught throughout the day smallest 6lb biggest 9lb, all caught on ledgered Halibut pellets. Excellent day on a great venue, many thanks WUF.
