Evening ticket.
Tried the float for a couple of hours. A bit too much water.
Resorted to the lead for the last couple of hours. Managed two nice barbel to about 5lb.
River fining down and a good colour.

fast flowing and clear conditions. good stamp of chub caught up to 5.5lb and a bonus 6lb barbel which was in great condition.

Cubed, spiced meat accounted for a few decent chub to 5lbs. Late afternoon, Fergie time, 3 cubes left and a barbel about 7lbs came to the net.

River clear and fast flowing. lost one big fish mid-day but otherwise a good day catching chub up to 3.5lb (mainly on meat) and one bonus grayling of approx. 1lb.

Fished middle of beat, old wharf area, on or close to crease. Fish, all 3-4 lbs, came to spiced meat. Left some rigs in river bed snags.
Not a great day by Wyebank standards but…no sign of eels. A bonus.

1 Barbel, 5 Chub

Water clear with good pace. Level steady. 1 barbel late morning - 9lb. The other at dusk 11lb 4 oz. 2 x chub of decent size too. All on the feeder with meat.

River running high and fast, struggled to hold bottom did manage one decent chub but gave up after a couple of hoursl
