River running very fast and coloured, must have come up a good 3-4 ft since last trip and just couldn't hold bottom in the pool with feeder or lead. One Barbel which was very welcome. Put it down to another learning experience on the wonderful Wye.

Lovely day, 10 barbel, 6 chub, 6.2 million dace and a lightning storm that epically put a halt to proceedings.

Was in the area so dropped past for a couple of hours. Given the recent weather not surprisingly was quite hard going but scraped out one barbel and a chub

Discovered this beat and was trying flyfishing for barbel for the 1st time. Lovely evening, able to wade through the whole length of the beat, but no beginner's luck!

A man came and had a bath right next to me and in all his glory. Very shallow but access was good.
