Lovely stretch of river with plenty of access to the water. Seemed to be a lot of snags in the middle section but we managed a few fish in between losing tackle. Other was an eel, nice to see the are still some about.

Arrived at the river to find the pool swim inaccessible due to the high levels . This was a bit of a blow but safety first ! Fished the only 2 swims available , not a lot happening here today , a complete polarisation from yesterday’s bonanza .
With the constant rain and zero action I decided to call it at 5 pm . Still a great beat and looking forward to next season

As per MA from Cheshire 7/10/23 we decided not to (couldn't fish) as the bottom half of the beat was inaccessible as water levels had restricted access and those areas that may have been a possibility for a brave person just didn't look safe as bank and path to beat was very slippy / dangerous and with the weather as it was , a rising river and the forecast to be we took the sensible and safe option of not fishing which was a real shame (is this a wash off? I appreciate it wasn't totally flooded but sense prevailed on this occasion).

Unfortunately we didn't fish.

We had booked 3 months ago so was looking forward to fishing Wyebank after a good few years but unfortunately the only 2 accessible pegs were unfishable as the water levels were too high and water was pushing through at a good pace. Disappointing but no one can predict the river level, we will try again.
