Blank unfortunately, river was very high and barely fishable. Can imagine it would look like a different river with better conditions

No fish, no bites. Great scenery and venue conditions were against me today! Up pushing and coloured! Will come back to redeem myself!

River quite high and although air temp was mild water temp felt very cold. A bit of a struggle. Not the easiest best to fish in these conditions, high and slippery banks. Also of note, it wasn’t possible to park at the designated parking area at the top of the beat as the water company have put out traffic cones on the grass verge and put up signs asking you not to park there.

Intermittent rain, cloud and sunshine but mainly overcast. River low and water visibility to 12- 18 inches. The rain showers made the banks very slick making the already limited access sketchy. After checking out the lower section - access limited by a fallen tree! in the end we settled on the upper section and found a swim with both the features we wanted and reasonably safe access. We float fished a dead bait 4 feet from the bank in the slack of a tree growing out from the bank and my daughter had the only take of the day with a lovely 14lb pike - her first from the Wye and a new PB - happy days!

Fishing for Pike, but no success. One dropped run all day. River was very low for this time of year.

Blank day unfortunately for targeted species, river level was falling however was the colour of milk chocolate. Used mackerel dead baits which the eels enjoyed but no Pike. Falling temperature with a stiff wind not ideal for the other rod feeder method however an enjoyable day all the same.
