Water level was low and was dissapointed at the lack of swim maintenance in the meadow area. Last year there was more options to fish but a lot of it is overgrown. Having said that, fished lower down and managed to bag 4 barbel 5lb & 6lb and two 8lbers so well happy. Taken on meat and boilies.

2 of us fishing 3 others fishing when we arrived and we had a job to find a swim all very overgrown and unfishable was a bit disappointed with the state of the swims in the meadow

Evening session (3pm to dusk). Two barbel and two chub.

Lovely stretch of river, great fishing in the evening. Between 10AM and 5PM the boat traffic is too heavy, particularly on a nice weekend day, hundreds of craft on river. Fish late, if you can, at about 7PM it will switch on and the barbel will be queuing up for it.

Fished from 5pm until 9.30pm from the concrete like pier thing using Halibut Pellets Taking 9 Barbel 5.7lb. 7.4lb. 7.5lb. 7.6lb. 7.9lb. 8.6lb. 9.2lb. 9.5lb & 10.6lb What a cracking evening ????

Fished the evening only from 6:30 to 9:00, one barbel only, but a beauty at 9lb 4.
