1 Barbel, 3 Chub

Only fished from 5-8am. Parking not obvious. Access to much of the stretch very limited. Some much is very overgrown and path maintenance is very poor over much of the stretch. All water is relatively, slow flowing so more suitable to bottom fishing. I was only interesting in trotting. One chub about 1.5lbs caught trotting, with sausage meat. I decided to book the adjacent Wyebank stretch for the rest of the day.

River low but conditions overcast and cool and river temperate not to hot. All fish caught with significant quantities of lice on them which was removed before fish released. Fished in the woods but peg access quite dangerous!

Couldn’t fish due to other people fishing and the canoes

Difficult finding somewhere to fish from easily. Just 2 eels and 2 Chub , one barbel hooked but came off.

Feeder on a running rig , bit of colour mostly overcast humid looked like the river had dropped a bit.

Confused about top end parking, notes say can park outside the water works but sign says not, so parked lower down. Peg I used to fish could not be found - too overgrown. Just fished the morning, no bites, but plenty of trout leaping.
