Booked as a present. Second day for the two anglers with river levels dropping slightly from the day before but still pushing through very fast. There were three anglers already in the meadow section on arrival so fished down near the village. One barbel was hooked but lost in an underwater snag.

River high and cold. No bites at all.

River really high, water very cold, sat it out in the top swims of Legg meadow for an 8hr blank. Lovely place to fish, will be back in the summer.

Very high and coloured, snow melt contributed to a hard day. Just a small eel caught under my feet but otherwise biteless. Did see a couple of chub rise as we were leaving but nothing taking.

Fished next to the water treatment plant. Water temperature only 5c. Only 3 small Chub

2 barbel caught in flooded conditions.

In flood conditions there are very limited swims for the number of rods allowed

Targeting pike, but they weren't biting. Not a touch and saw no signs of fish.

River was a bit pacey for the Pike, but managed to get one at around 15lb. Lost another, but it was 20 minutes before catching this one from the same spot, so potentially could have been the same fish.
Float ledgered Bluey was the successful method.
