4 Trout caught on a variety of flies including Mayfly. Largest fish at just under a pound other three extremely small. Only area where fish were evident was from bridge to 50 metres maximum downstream. Other parts of river were unproductive.

Caught 1 brown trout approx 1 lb 4oz on a mayfly returned.
A great location will be back again

Water still .55m and clear. Fished for trout throughout beat. John had 4 on the spiders but none for me until late on when there was a large mayfly hatch and landed 2 at 1lb 9oz and another at 1lb 4 oz. The latter was kept as gills damaged.
John landed 7 on the spiders from 6oz to 1lb 4 oz. All returned
Silly season has just started!!

Went through Rock Pool and Wood Stream for salmon. No takes and none showing. Water .55m and very warm. Fished off staging until 21.45. Very sparse hatch.

Nought. Too bright. Dog fell in water. Saved. Decided best policy was to have a kip on the platform, which we duly did.
Gourgeous spot. Will be back

No sign of salmon. One 2lb trout taken to small silver stoat.

arrived at 6a.m. anticipating scorchio later in the day. river at 0.7m on the gauge and looking perfect.fished hard with the double hander without any sign of salmo salar.midday ajourned for a cup of tea with jean at sweet's. attended to the other hobby(collecting flies and tackle) then home to join the fishing widow to a pimms in the garden. lovely day.
