Squally conditions - difficult fishing but as always great to be on the Wye.

Our favourite W & U beat and once again did not disappoint. Good to catch up again with Andy albeit from a distance! Feeder tactics in the faster water combined with 8mm pellets or Krill dumbbells did the trick. All fish in great condition and have not forgotten how to scrap. Best of 9lb 15 and probably the same fish caught earlier in the week by our friend Brian. We will be back!!

We fished until 3pm, so a relatively short session. Bright sunshine in the afternoon. All the barbel came in the morning.

The river was fining down. It rained throughout the day making the banks treacherous. Two of the barbel were over 8 pounds

The river was up but fining down. All fish on pellet. Best barbel weighed 9 pounds 15 ounces.
