River high and coloured. Barbel caught through the day on pellets. Including three doubles including an 11.04lb very good

It’s a year since we fished this beat and a lot of the swims had changed with trees and bushes removed . Conditions very difficult - river high and baits struggling to hold in the current Tried all baits and eventually only got 2 chub on luncheon meat .

River well up and fish hard to find. Best chub went 4lb 8oz, the 'other fish' were eels. Lovely setting.

A challenging days fishing with a high and very coloured river.
We managed two barbel and two chub ... largest barbel was just over 9Ib.
Thankfully the rain held off and it was a lovely day sitting by the river.

Few fish on the morning then went quiet on the afternoon river start to rise slowly may of affected the fishing but good day to be out and a peaceful stretch

Lovely venue-some rain, water chocolate colour, but perfectly fishable.

River coloured but steady, we caught 10 Barbel including 1no Double 10lb 2oz, 2 Chub 7 1no Eel, back on the river again in October.
