A lovely day on the fishery, albeit a bit wet at times. Decide to try for the pools bream, on worm and feeder. Ended up with a bag of roach, two nice sized bream and a welcome 1lb plus perch. Great stuff. Many thanks WUF.

Beautiful venue as always. One bite, no fish. Maybe spawning? Please pass on my thanks to the owners.

** NEW BEAT ** The Haven Fishery on the River Teme, approx. 8 miles west of Worcester.

Approx. 1 mile of single, left bank fishing with 20 to 25 swims, some of which have ropes aiding access to the river. A superbly maintained stretch of the river Teme approx. 8 miles west of Worcester close to Knightwick bridge with secure fenced off riverside parking. If conditions allow, there is vehicle access along the length of the beat to drop off kit. There is a 2 strand barbed wire fence by the river to restrict livestock but there are plastic sleeves close to the swim locations to aid access.

Check availability online.

8 Carp caught, all commons in good condition, from 3lb - 12lb with 2 x doubles. Warm, sunny day but cold breeze, some fish on surface but not overly interested in floaters. All fish taken on the bottom.

Lovely venue, instructions provided clear and booking process seamless. First time I've used WUF, will definitely use again. Thank you very much.

Managed to catch my first ever Barbel, with my first cast of the day. Just under 7lb. The river was flying through and fishing in the middle was impossible. I managed to fish the slacks on 3 pegs , only manged to get one other bite the rest of the day. The sun was shining, it was an enjoyable day.
