The Creel is definitely the WUF postman.....it always delivers!!….Despite tough conditions a few good fish were caught on a beautiful September day....Usual feeder tactics the method and would have caught more if had stayed later...Plenty of wildlife and very little boat traffic created a lovely ambiance to be on the Wye and the long trek home not seem so bad...

Bright sunny day and the river was low. Trotting delivered the trout early morning. Moved along the top part of the beat. Taught son how to trott a float. At sun set two barbel in quick succession open end feeder.
Worth the 7 hour round trip, looking to book again.

River was at low, fairly clear condition and the fish I caught on feeder filled with a mix of 8mm pellets, crushed pellets ground bait, casters and hemp, the bait was hair riged 15mm bloodworm dumbbell. The weight of the fish was 5lbs 11oz

Nice day overall, unfortunately the number of canoes on the river didn't allowed me to use the full potential of the opposite bank, and after a cast past the mid river when canoes activity died off, at last knockings around half 7pm received the long waited bite of a pristine 5lb 11oz chub that made my whole trip from London worthy

To be honest today ended up being a bit of a gruelling one for both anglers.
2 good chub on the float early afternoon was followed by a completely bite less evening on a low river with clear bright sunshine and you know what it really didn't matter because it's such a privilege to be on the bank of this amazing river.
Thanks wuf.

Blue skies and bright sunshine with low water. Great looking venue with a range of water conditions to try. I dropped into the field below the wood initially and no action due to the bright conditions but a great place to admire the bird life in the area.
Fish all caught in the top field off the first croy using pellet feeder and corn on the hook. Couldn’t buy a bite on pellet but corn got them moving.
No clonkers, biggest chub 3 1/2lb and barbel under 5lb. Other was a welcome perch.
All fish in fantastic condition and stunning venue. Thank you WUF for the opportunity to fish waters like this. A return definitely on the cards

First ever trip to the Wye, so took time to find the fish in very low conditions.
Ended the day with a few small Chub from the fast shallow water opposite Goodrich Castle.

Day 2 of a 3 day trip. When I eventually found the place I like this fishery. You need to walk around to find stops but a good variety of swims. Only the one chub but that’s how it goes. Recommended
