Lovely stretch and plenty of good looking swims. Fished afternoon and evening in bright sunshine, pellets and corn. Not a twitch all day from three swims. Plenty of friendly canoeists, swimmers and paddle boarders, not a problem.
Seen a few comments about the narrow bridge - it’s a robust and solid structure across a ditch. Wish all footbridges were so well built. There is a bit of a slope down to the beat which is no issue if you take it steady and don’t take loads of just-in-case tackle and bait options you will never use.

Enjoyed a terrific day, although plagued by canoeists, paddleboarders and kayakers (going upstream !). However, fishing was tough at the Luggs mouth end, with just one lovely condition Chub of around 4lb. Persevered, rolling luncheon meat without any further bites. Moved up to the Hut from mid-afternoon and fished same tactics with instant reward. Action was hectic, with nine further Chub ranging from 1.5 to 3lbs all on rolling meat until dusk. Sadly, for all my efforts a Wye Barbel eluded me this time. Toward dusk two poachers arrived downstream and I requested them to leave, which they did in good grace. One spoke in a very broad Herefordshire accent, both were drinking what looked like cans of lager. They had walked up from the Luggs Mouth end and were spinning from the Croys. They left in the direction they came.

We had a great day. My friend caught 16 roach and a large eel, whereas I only managed one small roach. It's a beautiful location and we will definitely be heading back!

A great venue but very low clear water and bright sunshine did not make the fishing easy to say the least...!! On a positive note plenty of good Dace were caught on the float which saved the day from a fishing perspective and formations of Geese flying south in the evening sun was an enjoyable sight....Thanks to the WUF and fishery owners for making this cracking spot available to fish and will return again soon with the rain hopefully....!!

Very tough day with low river and bright conditions. Most fish came from a single spot where there seemed to be hoped up

River very low and with bright sunshine and easterly wind it was going to make fishing challenging. Caught for first 2 hours 8 till 10am then again from 5 to 7pm. Blackcap feeders with 4mm pellet and a single 8mm halibut pellet and 16 hook to 0.20 line managed to winkle out a few with no losses. Variety of swims tried but majority of fish caught in bottom field.

River quite low although quite nice colour, very crisp breeze at times, thought be a good day, although we thought it would be hard,it was ! Chucked the kitchen sink at it,bait wise and different areas but to no avail,no fish not even a chub although had two tiny minnows stuck in the feeder mesh! hey but that’s fishing, other than that a nice looked forward to day out on the Wye ready to return again soon
