Arrived to find the swim that has produced some good fish for me in the past taken. Beat four. Despite moving beats and trying different areas blanked,( crossed Whitney Toll Bridge four times !) River level constant all day and thankfully hardly any silkweed being washed down. All fish caught on meat with biggest Barbel about 6lb and biggest Chub 4lb. More canoes on the river but still not to bad.

River conditions as other report. 1 Barbel caught on pellet all other fish including the sea trout which was about 2lb caught on meat. Biggest Barbel about 5lb. 2 Chub about 4lb the others around the pound mark. Morning and afternoon best time for bites.

Fished from 6-10, started getting bites at 7pm and had an hour of hectic action from the chub with the odd barbel in between. Barbel to around 8lb and some cracking chub to 4.5 lb. most on halibut pellets and Krill boilies.

Great days fishing, river and weather were perfect and caught throughout the day. Fish caught on meat, pellets and bread. No monsters but Babel between 4 and 6 lbs and Chub 1.5 to 5.5lbs. Great sport !

A great days sport. River and weather conditions perfect. 15 chub caught on rolling meat float fished pellet and feeder fished boilie, from chublet to 4lb 5oz. A barbel would have been 'The icing on the cake'. Thanks to Terry and all at the Trust. Fished beats 3 and 4. The gate was unlocked when we arrived and couldn't be locked when we left. Will be back soon.
