Lovely stretch of the river Wye. Fishing was hard, lots of snags in the water lots of tackle lossed. But that said had 3 lovely Perch easy all over 2.5 pounds. Will return later in the year.

Weather good, no overnight frost, water 8c, the Wye looked good, tried everything pellets, maggots and luncheon meat. The only bit/catch was a little trout on maggot. Where have all the chub and barbel gone? Will be back in July

Frosty morning, the Wye looked great. Parked near the cattle grid. Had bites in all 4 swims. I think they were chub bites, just one quick tug. Finished up with 1 small chub on maggots.
