Last day of my trip, predicted the day well except the 3 others were minnows…..2 foul hooked and one with its head stuck in my cage feeder! This place is teeming with life, kingfishers, swifts drinking on the wing, dragon flies, otters and screaming canoeists, an excellent Wye adventure.

Nice fishery with a limited amount of swims - realistically more than 2 anglers would struggle, fished the bottom end of the stretch using the usual methods - they liked a lot of bait!
I would be concerned going to this stretch after any reasonable amount of rain as the road leading down to the bank is VERY steep, it has a gravel surface but would still become slippery - I have a golf estate and I wouldn't attempt it after bad weather.
Enjoyable days fishing though.
