Really lovely beat and very well looked after. Nearly all Chub over 4lb and Barbel up to 8lb. 6lb Pike took a squid flavoured pellet! All fish in immaculate condition and gave tremendous fights to the net. Got a right good soaking in the afternoon and the evening mist made it very atmospheric.......the Wonderful Wye

All fish in wonderful condition. Best barbel was about ten pounds.

Day 2. I fished the top end again after pre baiting the night before, fishing was poor for me, quite a few small Chub on float fished meat, a few big ones on boilies, but no Barbel. I had an hour or so in the woods but no joy.
My mate fished the bottom of the beat opposite the house, he did OK landing 4 Barbel to 8 pound and some nice Chub
