Not a great stretch. The video with the birdsong soundtrack somehow fails to capture the noise of the continual traffic on the opposite side. Bankside very steep and overgrown - can only get to the river in a few places, and virtually none of them have a place flat enough for a stool to sit on. Not a great day. Sorry, but I'll go elsewhere next time I'm on the Wye, unless they do something about access to the river.

1st frost of the year killed any hope, but as prepaid I had to give it go - just a small chub from the deeper water saved me from a blank.
Cracking beat though, will be back next summer/autumn to have another go

Tough day to fish - coldest October day for ten years apparently - frost on the ground when we arrived with stunning clear skies and fresh northerly wind. A few small chub,dace, minnows on maggot and one chub around 2lb on pellet

After an extremely hard frost, probably the 1st of the season we new it would be difficult.
We struggled all day and had 3 chub on bread at the death.
