1 Barbel

Conditions exactly the same as the day before but for whatever reason only 1 fish caught on pellet and feeder

Water low and slow, fishing patchy,

5 Barbel, 4 Chub

An interesting day! Fish were not in the usual areas so we had to go hunting. Managed to find two nice barbel. Had to make a swift escape as the heavens opened up in order to get out of the bottom field only to be confronted by the whole herd of cows blocking our exit on the road out of the field and some angry looking bulls. When they eventually moved on,after about an hour, the path out was very slippy and we only just managed to get the cars out. Future anglers should be aware of this if it is wet.

2 Barbel

Fished from 3-8pm. River very low and clear with lots of weed making things difficult. 2 barbel 7-8lb and 5 good chub, 4 of them 4lb+. Also lost 2 barbel in the weed. All taken on groundbait feeder with boilie hookbait.

2 Barbel, 5 Chub

Warm bright day and river slow with lots of loose weed running down. Fished on ledger with mostly meat and pellet Usual waves of canoes through the day

2 Barbel, 3 Chub, 1 Other

Red letter day with barbel 9.75lb all caught on in the woods section on pellet and feeder

10 Barbel

Water level low, weather bright, fished various swims but success was from the gravel bank 2 chub on pellet 2 on rolled meat, unfortunately no barbel this year, good to see this stretch back on the passport. Access is better being able to drive right down to main stretch, not many canoes, great day on this lovely stretch of water.

4 Chub

A good day with fish caught steadily throughout the day. Fish to 6lb and all in excellent condition despite the lack of water in the river.
