River low and clear. Weather warm and humid with full cloud cover and a gentle breeze. The fishing was incredible. Most of the bites were immediate and violent. I fished for 4 hours. After landing my 8th specimen barbel I walked up the hill and picked wild cherries for the preserving jar to calm me down. 8 barbel 8 Chub.

Great day on the Wye again barbel on feeder tactics most chub to long trotted bread flake which was a wonderful time. River low and fairly clear,thanks wuf.

Hot day, low water, fished the bottom peg after walking the whole beat. Top half very broad and slow with few easily accessible spots, streamy water in the middle looks very nice. Had a good few chub, only one small barbel.
