Beautiful weather for final day of the season for me. Had a chub bonanza on the float, biggest went 5lb 10oz. Superb sport. I actually ran out of bait around 4pm. Roll on the next season

Fished two different sections which are usually very prolific, really struggled to get a bite , surprised to see the river at almost summer levels and regretted not bringing the float rods , on the other hand it was a beautiful day and a joy to just sit and basque in the sunshine .
Not the haul we were anticipating but a fish each saved us both from a blank

Nothing substantial, chub up to around 3lb 8 every 15 minutes or so once I got the method right. Then it was time to go. Lovely place.The cacophony of wildlife sound at the end of the day was something to behold
