Fished the wooded section. Fished pellet, meat and boilie for one trout and eels on meat, no barbel or chub. Tough day, I'm sure would fish better with some more water on. Absolutely stunning scenery, I'll definitely be back.

Overcast and cooler conditions suggested a better day than we had. Although in our defence an unscheduled trip to Hereford eye casualty did make it a truncated day. Both fish to Ian on boillies over pellets from the same swim the fish came from last week, with the barbel going 7.08 so one happy chappy at least. A beautiful beat but one I am yet to come to terms with!

Not easy but a better day than expected. Very slow on static baits, majority of fish taken on float fished bread including one of the Barbel , the other Barbel and a few Chub taken on meat. Although most canoeists are polite, considerate individuals, apparently it's my "effing fault" that the odd moron amongst them doesn't know left from right. Apart from that and a few hook pulls a very pleasant day on the river.

Fished the peg opposite the house. Access down to the swim was pretty difficult as there had been a lot of rain this morning. I appreciate you leaving it natural but some investment could be made to making access alot safer and overall improve the angling experience. Even the addition of a rope would help.
The fishing itself was fantastic. All fish caught on cage feeder just inside the faster flowing water. All barbel in good condition and were well rested before release. Weights ranged from 4-8 pounds.
Fishing Passport Note : The Wye is an SAC and SSSI, meaning the river and its banks are highly protected under law. There are, therefore, strict limits on what can be done to improve access.

Low river and hot day but beautiful, excellently managed fishery on which Stefan has done a huge amount of work. Good access to swims with ropes and steps. Thank you Stefan for the advice and fishery care. 7 chub, one barbel and a large eel on spicy meat.

Just fished an evening session 4pm-9pm,
2 barbel, 7 chub, all caught trotting apart from one barbel, all from the shallow fast water.
I managed to find a dozen or so barbel and got them feeding on a shallow spot, I just sat and watched them for a hour or so before fishing, it was so nice to see, beautiful stretch of river!

Cool overcast morning with a 19.6 degree water temp. Fished the bottom swims and again had a fantastic Chub session on the float on hemp and meat - a brilliant stamp of Chub too. Periodically broke off to fish under and beyond the Chub for a barbel but with no success.
