Three anglers for the afternoon travelling light. Cardiac hill seems to be getting easier. We were going to fish the Croy but good swims cut in the first field so didn't venture any further. Swims well cut out but recommend taking a rope as steep bank down to decent swims. Fishing was hard though.

Arrived at beat at 4pm to see water colour a lot better than 2 weeks ago, could actually see some streamer weed
Barbel 4 to 6.5lbs. Chub 2 to 4lbs. Fish caught at top and bottom of beat

Great day on the chub again today.... Not what I was fishing for but they do keep you occupied and put up a hell of a fight.... Only the one barbel around 2lb but had alot of chub around the 5lb mark.
A few heavily spawning!!!!! (so please handle with care).
Using using cage feeder (brown crumb) with cheese, meat, bread, corn, pellet, small pop ups as hook bait. The chub took anything that was on the hook...
Great day again.
And an eel!.
