Fished the peg above the beach. The chub were obliging despite the swimmers, paddle boarders and the 20 people that got off their kayaks and had a BBQ on the beach! Not really peaceful but that's not the fault of the Wye and Usk foundation.

Another hot day, arrived to see chub spawning on the gravel on the far bank, quite a spectacle that lasted for several hours.
But plenty of chub 3-5lbers still feeding in one swim, but very hard for the other angler.
Access good in places
Unfortunately no barbel

Frist of three days on the wye as normal lovely beat but on this occasion MH was unable to
Attend due too unforeseen circumstances but my colleagues had a very good day SG CATCHING 80
