Enjoyable days fishing at the top end, caught chub up to 4lb and a 8lb barbel last cast. Caught all fish ledgering using pellets and meat. Sorry to say but the river looked dead, no weed to speak of, and was low and brown compared to previous years

River level good but rather worryingly brown and cloudy, rafts of foam in trees on opposite bank in places seemingly going nowhere.
Which given how little rainfall the region has had throughout the last 2 weeks is no doubt yet another consequence of something being seriously wrong!

Only one place to fish. Very bad directions as to which side or left ir right u can fish as signs all say private.
Really think someone needs to visit and up date instructions as 8 years is a long time. The white gste is no longer white.
