Load of chub 2 to 4 pounds, a few smaller barbel but my son landed his first ever 10+ so a great day. I trotted a float down from the beach at the lower end of the beat and my son was on ledger. The forecast bad weather kept the kayaks and swimmers at bay, so largely peaceful too. Most fish caught on luncheon meat.

Slow day very low River. However 2 Anglers fished one for the first time on the Wye first Wye Barble 11lb 3oz. Tactics groundbait feeder. Fished the whole stretch looking for the fish. Most fish in the faster water. The other fish was a nice Dace
