Small beat but a great little spot to fish with the ability to drive right up to the bank. Initial swim as you look down has a steep incline but if you walk to the far left swim, easier access can be found with a more gradual slope to all swims. Would not be suitable/ideal though if you have mobility issues. Added bonus of picnic benches to utilise setting up.

Fortunately cloud arrived in the afternoon and the fish seemed to come out of hiding. biggest chub were 4lb 14oz and 5lb
3 barbel were also caught 6lb 6oz, 9lb 4oz and 10lb 8oz in the slower deeper swims.

Same old whinge,bankside dangerous and virtually inaccessible. Tried to find the orchard swim, seems its lost forever somewhere in the undergrowth!!
Don't believe it's the passports responsibility but that of the landowners. Each and every beat I visited, I had to spend at least an hour cutting back long overgrown vegetation before being able to commence fishing but on a more positive note, fishing great as usual.
