Lovely stretch as per usual on this wonderful river. Sadly no barbel today but the river was running low and clear and it was super hot. Having said that some great chub sport was had early on fishing from the salmon croy lower down with all fish being returned safely. Once the sun was up it was too hot ????. Lovely stretch and a really nice owner and one I’ll be back to fish

Parking was an issue at this beat, fished 0600-1200, had one good take but got cut off. The other was eels, steep banks are not for the frail, but I managed okay.

Lovely beat, parking right next to the river. A short length but a great fish holding spot. Lots of small Chub and Dace - caught a handful of good sized chub- up to 4lb. Lost a barbel to a hook pull. Quite a few Barbel flashing in the shallows when I left at midday

Fished in the woods. Feeder and meat/pellets. Slow going but managed 14 decent chub in the end between my son and me with quite a few over 4lb. Very pleasant day but a barbel or two would have been nice!
