First time out this season and still a bit cold with river level still quite high. Fished the bottom end back to the junction pool between 11 and 2. Duo with all on the nymph.

A few fish rising in the slow sections but difficult to tempt.

Only fished a couple of hours around lunchtime. 1 Trout on a nymph fished duo. Grayling still pretty active and difficult to avoid.

brown trout 4inches returned ,grayling 9inches returned, River access very difficult. I didnt cover all the length of the fishing but very heavy under growth on banks and overgrowth over head. i was using a 6' 6 rod and still struggled. High taut barbed wire at some of best access positioning good fun if your happy to scramble.

Access to river extremely difficult, barbed wire fences making it impossible to fish most of it. Very nice fishing in the bits I could get to. Had an enjoyable day but better access would make it so much better. Biggest trout 12ins

Started at lunch time after the morning rain.
River quite low now with most fish in the fast water.
Fished duo with most fish taking the #20 jig nymph.
Also caught quite a few minnows so 4 species today.

Started below the road bridge but not much fishable water from the left bank. 3 nice Grayling on the caravan site section then none above the junction pool. 2 trout on the klink the rest on the nymph below.
Some nice water but very overgrown in places and completely blocked in others.
