We cannot stress enough the importance of making quick and accurate returns of salmon catches, even if nothing has been caught. Recording catch data is one (perhaps the best, certainly the most cost effective) way of determining the success of our river restoration works. Although affected by short term variations in weather and water conditions, the longer term data set will build an accurate picture of our salmon runs. Catch returns can be made quickly via our online form for both Passport and non-Passport waters. Most of our reporting is from the Wye. Where a salmon has come from another river we will state accordingly.

9:34 pm Wyesham pm: A fourth for Martin Bowler on a Flying C from the Pipes(12lbs) and Alan Shufflebotham had a 12 lbs fish on the fly from Colemans
9:27 pm 14lb fish on a fly from Whitney beat 2 today.
6:06 pm Wyesham: Martin Bowler had 3 this a.m...15lbs on fly from Station Stream ,another of 12.5lbs from the same pool and a 19 pounder from Colemans spinning. Gerry Arnold had a 12 pounder from Washings Crib. All fish sea liced. 85 total.
4:00 pm 18lb salmon reported from Glanwye today.

10:51 pm 13lbs to Ian Spalding at Letton on a home made fly. Another lost
10:50 pm Mike Timmis had a fish of 11lbs on fly from Island Stream and a second of 16 lbs from Cottage Flats on spinner (Wyesham)
9:08 pm 11lb fish landed at Kerne Bridge by Steve Brown. He also lost another.
4:22 pm Whitney report a 10lb fish on a size 8 Willie Gunn first thing this morning.
6:18 am 3 more from Sheepwash, 16.5lb, 11lb and 10lb and just upstream Golden Mile produced a 24lber.
