River very low, clear and with very little flow so knew barbel were probably going to be a non starter so focused on the chub. Ranged in size from 6oz up to just under 4lb. All came to meat either float fished or feeder.

Beautiful stretch. Access was good. Fished the shallow walled section and caught chub consistently through out the morning. Most success on meat. Moved to deeper section later in day. Again more chub but no barbel. Will return later in year

All on the float, biggest was 3lb if lucky. Easy to get to the bank, limited at the bank.

Stunning stretch! Loads of swims. We fished mostly near the NT property. Despite rain all day we had a lovely time. Slow going but very enjoyable.

A hot and sunny day made it tough. Only two fished. A couple of chub and a perch added to a solitary barbel. Very nice beat and look forward to returning. Can the Wye Usk open another swim above the current top peg? This would give more options in the faster water.

Weather was great, with the river lower a lot of good access though suffered with getting snagged up a lot early on in the first few swims. Gorgeous days fishing regardless
