Not a bite all day. Tried pellets & sweet corn.
Weather was good.
To be honest disappointed & at £15 per day need to allow 2 rods per angler.

6 commons all on pellet in margins from various swims...ranging from 7 to 9lbs

5 common carp caught at the car park end margins on pellet,6lb,7lb,10lb,12lb and 20lb 12oz all immaculate hard fighting fish.

Been wanting to fish this pool for quite a while now. My brother & I booked a day to try it out, didn't catch any fish on this occasion, we tried a few methods & different baits (sweetcorn & pellets).

A lovely pool & location. Will give it another go to see if we have more luck.

Very windy day. Just one missed bite, probably not helped by a number of people swimming and throwing sticks into the water for dogs. Beautiful setting but don't expect seclusion, this is clearly a very popular route for walkers/wild campers etc. Maybe quieter on a weekday?
