Overcast first thing but as the bright sunshine appeared around 08:30-09:00 the catches slowed. Biggest Chub - 4lb 13oz. Then the other chub ranged between 4lb 2oz down to 2lb.
Lots of chub basking in the gravel shallows but very wary. Water clarity clear, all in all a lovely half day fishing. Will be back in October.
