Unfortunately had to call time on fishing after ~1hr due to an unexpected family issue. Had a nice brown trout on the line but he slipped the hook whilst I was trying to net. River seemed to have plenty of promise, I would advise wading! Wind was very strong during my hour of fishing so selective casting was needed - great river for tenkara anglers. Would certainly like to give the beat a proper go if I'm ever back in the area.
