First time fishing this beat – lovely place with easy access to the river. Difficult wading but worth the effort with a good stamp of grayling – most around the 14-15" mark, all caught uses dries and nymphs. Felt soles/studs and a wading staff are recommended.

One grayling, average for the river in glanrhos pool. Plenty of fly life but very little activity. Cooler today at 14 degrees which perhaps suppressed activity.

Good day. There was a reasonable flow of water, and it was cold and clear. Only fished the three pools in the bottom section. Not much rishing. Caught fish on nymphs in morning and early afternoon, before 3 late grayling on a dry fly at about 5pm. Most of the grayling were 12-13", with the biggest about 14". The brown trout was 10".

First time on the beat and it was a pleasure overall. Trout and grayling hungry for nymphs, were looking up too. Beautiful scenery. Water very low. However, wadding at this beat is challenging even with low water, stones and rocks everywhere. Even now it has deep to very deep pools. Complicated getting into water. Close to the busy road. Weird parking spot by the bridge on the pedestrian pathway for one car at best.
