Apart from 1 hours sun the conditions were horrible. Tried hard in a few spots but only managed 1 Chub.

Lovely beat and looked in perfect condition as the river was fining down after the recent high levels. However the only barbel appeared early and just chub (and an eel) after that.

River level dropping but still pushing through really hard and very coloured a lot of debris coming down making fishing difficult,found a slack to fish and fished pellet feeder with meat on the hair 5 barbel up to 9lb 8oz and unfortunately 5 eels tried boilies and pellets but the barbel seemed to like meat.

We caught 6 Barbel to 7lb 13oz & 21 Chub to 4lb 12oz,
Note -We had to assist other anglers to get their cars back up the Hill due to the wet conditions.

All caught before swimmers. Again overcast. River fishing well till disturbance.

2 Barbel, 7 Chub

All caught before canoes started. Overcast. Pellet and boilie.
