Didn't fish due to health and safety concerns in getting to a productive swim whilst water levels are so low. Honestly, I feel it a little irresponsible that the water was not closed by the owner and an alternative date offered.
Fishing Passport Note : Access will take some effort given the current river levels but the Creel is fishable as feedback from other anglers can demonstrate.

Only one of us fished today. I caught 50 chub of all sizes. The two other fish were dace- one of which was a stunner.
Plenty of wildlife- kingfishers, peregrine falcons and sparrow hawks- to occur waiting times.
River exceedingly shallow and I fished the only swim with deep water only.

All fish caught on Meat and Pellets, a good 4 hours fishing, 4 chub over 4lb and the smallest of the 27 chub was just over 2lb. 1 Barbel - 6lb 2oz and was the first fish of the morning.
Blanket weed in patches.
