A good four hours exploring the pools. A few missed takes on a dry dropper set up. Very quiet on the water. A few very small fish seen feeding towards the end.

A very pleasant day but no fish caught. It became very warm and bright from 9am and no rises were seen. If I were to come again I'd arrive either very early before 0800 or probably later after 5pm, as I came the day before at 6pm and saw many fish rising the hatch.
Stunning place to fish. I will be back in cooler conditions.

Bowled up at a favourite at about eleven .... 16 degrees on my trucks dash , should be plenty of upwings about !!! .....or so I thought .......
I was a bit early for the main party !!! About an hour into my fishing I saw the first rise ...Low water again here, after one good night of rain last week !! Lean pickings folks this week !!! I waded super slow got out at four bells!!! Covering most of the beat ......
Five wee chaps to the net, all on tiny dries ...The main meaty hatch didn't really materialise..... A funny kind of prospecting sort of session ....Fun as always, but had a feeling the feisty Clywedog fish had been spooked .... Maybe an angler yesterday !!
I did see fresh prints .... all uo thf beat to the weir ...I think Tarka had done his rounds and thf trout were super edgy to say the least .....
I felt like I'd really worked for those five fish ...Slow, slow wading in crystal clear low water!! Hard earned brownies. I do love a tricky day, but jeeeeeeez they were playing difficult !!!!!.......
Lovely to see thf kingfisher up and down twice, and wild flowers and garlic doing well in the woods ! That smell is to die for ......
On another wild stream tommorrow!! Always good for Mondays to come round, cause reports aren't submitted for public reading after Thursday......Let's you see who's been adventurous and fished proper wild brooks, like the Clettwr and Duhonw !! Lol .......
Right, a well earmed mooch into Rhayader and a sit outside The Lamb and Flag with a cool pint of Thatchers !!!! Can't fault that ......Ha ha !!!!

Fish rising from 1pm till 4pm, beautiful sunny and breezy afternoon. Docs Cock Robin took most of them and Clan Chief took the best fish. I did try an Irresistible Adam’s but couldn’t get one on a dry unfortunately. All beautiful hard fighting fish. I walked the 2.2 miles each way. You can very easily and safely drive a car to the Llyn.

Great day, arrived at the river around midday to find a steady hatch of olives and LDOs with trout rising. This continued throughout the afternoon with some added yellow may duns. Fishing not easy with the river low and clear and bright sunshine all day, but fish were willing to take an olive Emerger pattern. 10 in total with 5 missed/lost along the way. The highlight being a clonker of 21 inches, taken in skinny water which raised a few sketchy moments on the 3wt and 6x tippet. Epic evening rise in the last hour of daylight but struggled to tempt them amongst all the activity.
