River as been up and down over past few days, caught it just as it was falling. Lots of leaves etc so fished close in. Chub was 5lb caught on meat. Access to river is good and also along bank even in wet. Cows in field.

A lovely day after early rain. All fish caught on meat. Biggest Barbel 8lb 8oz. A lovely chub around 5lb and 2 eels. Locals saying big run of eels in system at moment. Very beautiful beat. Lower end most productive

A lovely beat. River was high and coloured but fell through day. We managed to catch 4 barbel the biggest 8lb 8oz. All fish on meat. The two other fish were eels. We were told a large run of eels in the system at the moment.

Barbel first cast followed by a chub, then struggled for another bite. Moved swims and we managed to hook a 9.5lb Barbel. All fish caught on pellet. River was up and rose rapidly in the late afternoon.

Few chub knocks, wanted to fish one of the cribs but couldn't find them, guess they were under the extra water, not my ideal stretch.Had to have three attempts to get back up the hill, sliding back down under full brake at each attempt. T6's don't like it...be warned !!
