Fished 10.00am until 3.00pm, mostly stripping a Skinny Sunray through low and clearish water before storm Amy turned up. GLLR still salmonless, but one of the OOS brownies , caught in the top of the beat,was pushing two and a half pounds .

This was our annual trip to how caple court. storm Amy battered us with wind and rain.
Despite this between us we managed 3 barbel and 3 chub my son had 2 9lb+ fish and I was rewarded with a fantastic 11lb2oz fish.

Three anglers fishing our 2nd day on this beat, very wet and windy, so decided to ledger pellets and meat, we also float fished when we could which produced far more fish.

Weather was poor, constant heavy rain and wind during the day. River levels were good, similar to when we fished in the summer. Managed a few fish which made the effort worth the while.
